I am a recent graduate from UC Berkeley, where I earned my degrees in psychology and data science. My research interests lie the interaction of culture, stigma, and identity formation. I am also keen on issues surrounding the replication crisis in psychology and open science practices.

Research Interests

Broadly speaking, there are three research areas I am most interested in. These are some of the research topics I would like to continue to learn about and do research on at the graduate level.

Culture, Stigma, & Identity

How does one develop and conceptualize their identity while navigating stereotypes, social norms, and the clash between independent & interdependent cultures?

How does the process of identity formation change when one's presented with culturally specific stigma of their identity?

Social Network & Group Behavior

How can we understand group behaviors through studying social networks and digital interactions?

What are the differences between in-person and online interactions?

Reproducibility & Open Science

How much has psychology as a field progressed in improving reproducibility?

What are some alternative/new research approaches that ensure validity and reliability?
